Scope Additions
A scope addition project supports your RTO to prepare the required documentation and evidence to add a qualification or unit to your scope of registration. We work with you to review your Training and Assessment Strategy, identify gaps and provide clear feedback on improvements that strengthen the application. The process includes the pre-validation of two sample units to confirm that assessment tools, mapping and delivery arrangements align with the competency requirements.
We also review trainer profiles to ensure they meet vocational competence, qualifications and industry currency requirements for the proposed training products. Any gaps are identified with practical steps for rectification, giving your RTO confidence that every element of the application meets regulatory expectations. This structured support helps you submit a strong, complete and compliant scope addition.
Validation
Our validation service is offered in two parts to support both the design and the use of your assessment tools. The first stage is pre-assessment validation, where an experienced assessment designer reviews your tools, mapping, instructions and methodology. This ensures the tools align correctly with the unit requirements and will produce sufficient, valid and reliable evidence when used.
The second stage reviews assessor judgement to confirm that assessment decisions are consistent, fair and supported by verifiable evidence. We examine samples of completed assessments, including assessor notes and student submissions, to check that the evidence collected matches the rules of evidence. These approaches strengthens both assessment design and assessor practice, supporting compliance with the 2025 Standards.
TAS Reviews
A TAS review examines whether your Training and Assessment Strategy accurately reflects your intended delivery model and meets the requirements of the 2025 Standards. This includes a review of industry consultation, delivery hours, assessment methods, learner support strategies, staffing arrangements and training resources. We check that the TAS aligns with how the RTO plans to deliver and assess each training product.
Our feedback outlines specific changes needed to improve accuracy, strengthen compliance and ensure the TAS provides a realistic and complete operational plan. This helps your organisation maintain consistency across delivery, supports audit readiness and ensures your TAS meets both regulatory and practical requirements.
Trainer File Reviews
Trainer file reviews confirm whether your trainers and assessors meet the vocational competence and industry currency requirements for the units they deliver. We assess qualifications, mapping documents, CVs, employment history, PD logs and evidence of industry engagement to verify alignment with each training product. This allows you to identify gaps early and ensures trainers are appropriately skilled and current.
Our review provides clear, unit-by-unit feedback on what evidence is missing or insufficient, along with practical steps to update files.
